BCC Arte&Cultura presents 'Futuri Emergenti Italiani' with over 100 artists under 35

exhibition · 2026-04-26

The second edition of BCC Arte&Cultura, an initiative by 112 cooperative credit banks of the Gruppo BCC Iccrea, focuses on the future of Italian art by featuring works from 'Futuri Emergenti Italiani', a selection of over 100 artists under 35. Their works will be exhibited in bank branches across their home regions between April and December 2026. The selection was curated by Cesare Biasini Selvaggi with support from Mario Bronzino, Simone Ceschin, Anna Mostardi, and Matteo Scabeni after two years of research. A catalog published by ECRA-Edizioni del Credito Cooperativo will be released in spring 2026. The initiative, launched in 2024, is Italy's largest private diffuse museum of art and architecture, now with 150 works viewable in physical spaces and a 3D Gallery. New acquisitions include an anonymous painting of a Venetian procession missing the Lion of St. Mark above the Porta della Carta of Palazzo Ducale, possibly dating between 1797 and 1885. BCC Arte&Cultura also runs school projects with a free digital textbook by Stefano Cravedi, adopted by over 40 schools, and the BCC Book Club curated by Massimo Cuomo and romanzi.it, which in 2026 will focus on the theme of 'Nascere' (Being Born) with over 50 titles from major and independent publishers, bringing authors to bookstores across Italy.
