exhibition · 2026-04-23

Bavan Gallery, located in Tehran, is showcasing 'The Observer and Archive of Memory' at Foundry Downtown in Dubai, featuring artists Nasser Bakhshi and Roghayeh Najdi. This exhibition will be open from February 5 to March 5 in Gallery 3, marking the gallery's fifth presentation in Dubai as part of its initiative to promote contemporary Iranian art on a global scale. Nasser Bakhshi, born in Tabriz in 1983, delves into themes of memory, identity, and human emotion through abstract forms and storytelling, merging Iranian cultural elements with international influences. Roghayeh Najdi, born in Tabriz in 1982, studied at both Tabriz University and Antwerp University, creating art that transforms subjects into negatives to detach from identity and time. Her floral motifs represent hope and femininity, and she has exhibited in numerous countries, including Iran, Turkey, Australia, and France. Additionally, Najdi co-founded the Archive Museum in Tabriz and is involved in museum management and preservation.
