Bassam Issa Al-Sabah's Immersive Installation at FACT Liverpool

Bassam Issa Al-Sabah's solo exhibition 'THE MISSION IS THE END, THE END IS ALL I WANT!' at FACT Liverpool creates an immersive environment blending film, sculpture, lenticular prints, and shifting light. The Belfast- and Dublin-based artist treats fantasy as a survival strategy for enduring digital culture's demands. The installation features a new film work with CGI-rendered faces, polystyrene sculptures referencing classical forms, and lenticular images of horses. Al-Sabah draws on video game structures like Baldur's Gate 3 to create a non-linear experience. The exhibition offers no captions or individual work titles, functioning as a single installation. It runs until 22 February.
