Basile Contemporary Opens in Rome with Inaugural Exhibition 'Mutevoli Realtà'

Basile Contemporary, a new art gallery founded by Rosa Basile, has opened in Rome at Via di Parione, near Piazza Navona, the Chiostro del Bramante, and the Church of San Luigi dei Francesi. Basile, who has 15 years of experience in the contemporary art sector, aims to create a space where art and culture are communicated with rigor and lightness. The gallery focuses on the dialogue between history and contemporaneity, working with living contemporary artists from national and international scenes, while occasionally pairing contemporary works with historical ones to highlight the continuity of art across time. The inaugural exhibition, 'Mutevoli Realtà' (Mutating Realities), curated by Alberto Dambruoso, features artists Paolo Grassino, Simone Pellegrini, and Emanuele Sartori. The exhibition reflects on the transience of life and the mutability of time, questioning whether reality is fixed or fluid, and how visual perceptions are transformed by personal experience and culture.
