Basel art fairs confirm September editions with full exhibitor lists

Art Basel, Liste, June Art Fair, and VOLTA are proceeding with their September editions in Basel, releasing exhibitor lineups. Art Basel will host 272 exhibitors, including 24 first-time participants such as Bridget Donahue, Company Gallery, Kasmin, Venus Over Manhattan (New York), Emalin, Union Pacific (London), and Edouard Malingue (Hong Kong). This marks Art Basel's first in-person return to Basel since the COVID-19 pandemic. The fair will also feature its online platform Art Basel Live with viewing rooms and virtual tours. Public days are 24-26 September, with VIP previews from 21 September. Marc Spiegler, global director of Art Basel, emphasized the importance of staging the show in person while building on digital innovations. June Art Fair will hold its third edition at Messe Basel from 20-26 September, its first in-person outing after a digital format last year in collaboration with Hauser & Wirth and ArtReview. Liste art fair will present 84 galleries from 35 countries at Messe Basel. VOLTA art fair will host its 16th edition at Elsässerstrasse 215 with 69 galleries during Basel Art Fair Week.
