Bardstown Bourbon Company Drops Two New Cask-Finished Whiskeys with Artist Packaging

Bardstown Bourbon Company has released two new cask-finished whiskeys: Lochs of Jura Barrel Finish and 2026 Discovery, both limited editions priced at $140 and available August 21 at specialty retailers nationwide. The first is a bourbon-rye blend finished for 32 months in ex-scotch casks from Scotland's Isle of Jura, incorporating MGP bourbons and an undisclosed Kentucky bourbon. The second uses garryana oak from Oregon's Willamette Valley for a four-month secondary maturation, building on the distillery's earlier Cascadia release. Louisville artist Margaret Archambault created the packaging, continuing the distillery's focus on design. Master blender Dan Callaway said the releases started from two different questions that led to unexpected discoveries. Both whiskeys showcase Bardstown's sourced and cask-finished blends rather than its Estate-Distilled lineup.
