Bard Yersin Architectes: Swiss Studio Founded by David Bard and Thibault Yersin
Bard Yersin Architectes is an architecture studio based in Romont, Switzerland, founded in 2019 by David Bard and Thibault Yersin. David Bard, a Swiss architect, integrates architecture, photography, and meticulous attention to existing buildings in his practice. After training as a building draughtsman, he studied at the School of Engineering and Architecture of Fribourg (HEIA-FR), earning a Bachelor's in Architecture in 2017 and a Master's in 2019. Since 2020, he has developed a photographic practice focused on observing and documenting spaces. His photographs have been exhibited in Mézières, Berlin, the United Kingdom, Amsterdam, Rome, Munich, and Monthey. In 2021, he curated an exhibition at the Museum of Wallpaper in Mézières. He has also contributed occasional invited lectures on reuse and on territory and landscape to architecture teaching.
