Barcelona Honors Enric Miralles with Six Exhibitions
Barcelona is paying tribute to the Catalan architect Enric Miralles (1955–2000) through a series of six exhibitions and discussions organized by his wife, Benedetta Tagliabue, alongside Joan Roig i Duran. The centerpiece, titled 'MIRALLES. A quarts de quatre…', is hosted at Saló de Tinell. Additional exhibitions include 'MIRALLES. Photos & Collages' at the Centre d'Arts Santa Mònica, 'MIRALLES. To be continued…' at Fundació Enric Miralles, and 'MIRALLES. Perpetuum Mobile' at Disseny Hub. 'MIRALLES. A l’escola' at ETSAB highlights his contributions to education. Discussions featuring Rafael Moneo, Beatriz Colomina, Soraya Smithson, Carmen Pinós, and Tagliabue will take place at COAC, showcasing his notable works such as the Igualada Cemetery and the Scottish Parliament building.
