Barbara Takenaga Exhibits in Chelsea and Lower East Side Shows Through October

This autumn, you can catch Barbara Takenaga's art in multiple exhibitions around New York. Her installation titled "Outset" is on display at Eric Firestone Loft in Chelsea, running until October 6. Another solo show, "Space Machines," is at Pierogi Gallery on the Lower East Side, available until October 9. At McKenzie Fine Art, "Good Vibrations" will be showcased until July 30 at 511 W. 25th Street. Other prominent artists featured include Hans Haacke at Paula Cooper Gallery, Nancy Spero at Galerie Lelong, and Duncan Hannah at James Graham & Sons. Siena's third solo exhibition is at Pace Gallery, while "Idols of Perversity" at Bellwether Gallery will be up until August 6. You can see Augustin Fernandez's pieces at Mitchell Algus Gallery until July 16, with some references to the Pre-Raphaelites.
