Barbara Butch Curates 25th Nuit Blanche in Paris with Love Theme

Barbara Butch, French artist and producer, has been appointed artistic director for the 25th edition of Nuit Blanche in Paris, taking place on June 6, 2026. The event features nearly 200 free installations across Paris and the Greater Paris metropolitan area, centered on themes of love, celebration, and collective creativity. Butch, who gained global attention during the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony, aims to create a participatory and accessible night for all. Highlights include 'La Déclaration' at Paris City Hall with Swedish Fit and a surprise pop singer; 'Carpet Museum of Iran' by David Mottahedeh at Jardin des Rosiers; dance performances by Leïla Ka, Olivier Dubois, and Mickaël Phelippeau at Carreau du Temple; 'Recoudre la nuit' by Romuald Jandolo at Gymnase Japy; 'Sous le poids du ciel' by Marie-Luce Nadal at Église Saint-Laurent; 'Falando de amor' by Beaux-Arts de Paris students at Espace Niemeyer; Annette Messager's installation at Piscine Château-Landon; 'We rise by lifting others' by Marinella Senatore at Place Stalingrad; 'À contre-courant' by studio Mr. & Mr. at Bassin de la Villette; 'Liquid Mirror' by Mathias Kiss at Petit Palais; 'My heart is bigger than my fear' by Milo Kulusevski at Grand Palais; and a video projection at Fondation Louis Vuitton.
