Baran Kok, Ikkimel, Herbert Grönemeyer & More Unite for CSD Benefit Concert

On August 18, Berlin will host a crucial benefit concert called "Fresse auf für queere Freiheit" (Shut Up for Queer Freedom), organized by rapper Baran Kok in response to the recent attack during the Berlin CSD (Christopher Street Day) parade. The event aims to raise awareness against queerphobic violence and honor its victims. A lineup of 15 artists, including Herbert Grönemeyer, Ikkimel, Badmómzjay, and more, will perform, with Barbie Breakout as the host. Although tickets are sold out, donations are still welcomed via the ticket shop. The funds raised will support Schwulenberatung Berlin and CSDs in rural eastern Germany. Kok emphasized the need for action, stating, "All the talk brings NOTHING without donations."
