Bar Extra by Atelier Zébulon Perron and Menu Extra at Montreal Design Week
For Montreal's first Design Week, culinary studio Menu Extra and Atelier Zébulon Perron transformed a ghost kitchen in the Mile End neighbourhood into Bar Extra, a temporary bar with a custom chandelier by Lambert & Fils. The space featured dark teal walls, purple carpets, mirrors with wordmarks by graphic design studio Martha, and a circular wooden bar. A massive chandelier made from recycled mirrored cabinets and steel structure by Modulor created a futuristic, UFO-like atmosphere with flashing lights and smoke machines. Food was served on anodised aluminium trays by Jacob Thompson Boyd. The bar ran from 1 to 3 May 2026.
