Bank of England Opens BEEDS UAT Environment for Statistical Taxonomy v1.3.1 Testing
The Bank of England has introduced a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment for BEEDS, allowing companies to evaluate Statistical Taxonomy v1.3.1 FINAL from June 2 to June 12, 2026. This initiative coincides with live reporting for select firms, facilitating preparation for the implementation of v1.3.1 for actual submissions of data from the end of May 2026, which are due in mid-June 2026. Firms engaged in statistical reporting will be automatically granted access, while software providers need to request entry by emailing BEEDSqueries@bankofengland.co.uk by May 25, 2026. Initial access will be provided via a temporary password. The UAT is solely for testing purposes; live data submissions should occur through the BEEDS LIVE environment. The Bank's Statistical Utility Tool will be discontinued and will not receive updates for version 1.3.1.
