economy-finance · 2026-04-28

The Bank of England has issued Statistical Notice 2026/03, requesting contact details from levy payers for the Bank of England Levy, which funds the Bank's policy functions for financial stability and monetary policy. New levy payers for the 2026/27 levy year must submit a contact details form by 5:30 PM on 21 May 2026. Existing levy payers needing to amend previously submitted details should email changes to BoELevy@bankofengland.co.uk. The Bank requires two types of contacts: a Recognised Contact authorised to give instructions (including payment) as per the Levy Terms and Conditions, and an Invoice Contact to receive the levy invoice. Providing Recognised Contact details constitutes acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. Invoices will be emailed around July each year. The notice also references related items: FCA and PRA changes to streamline senior manager accountability, an FPC review of UK bank capital, and minutes of the SONIA Stakeholder Advisory Group meeting on 24 March 2026.
