Bando per street art su muro di 8 piani a Roma: 6.500 euro in palio

PCT srl, led by Maurizio Albano, in collaboration with Municipio II, has issued a call for a street artist to create a mural in the Africano neighborhood of Rome. The project will take place on a parking lot wall measuring 40 meters long and 3 meters high, as well as on the façade of an 8-story building located at via Goretti 16, potentially becoming the tallest vertical artwork in the city. The mural's theme focuses on environmental respect and ecosystem preservation. The selected artist will receive €6,500 plus expenses, with additional prizes for the top 20 candidates. The deadline for submissions is July 31, 2021. Other opportunities include YAC Young Architects Competitions and the Municipality of Elini's Culture Stations project, with a deadline of July 11 and a prize pool of €15,000, judged by notable figures including Ricardo Bofill. Additionally, Ventura Milano Design Week 2021 is seeking emerging designers and artists from September 4-12, and the Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo is hiring for stage and hall representation at the Lavanderia a Vapore in Collegno, with applications due by July 2. Gente Roma and IED Roma are offering four scholarships for IED courses, with a deadline of June 29.
