BAM Milano launches sustainable architecture competition for under-40s

BAM – Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano has unveiled its program for 2021 and initiated a design contest for architects and engineers under the age of 40, with support from the Municipality of Milan and the Order of Architects PPC of the Province of Milan. This competition seeks to develop temporary, innovative, and sustainable installations within the park and Porta Nuova area. The cultural agenda emphasizes #openairculture, #nature, #wellness, and #education, drawing inspiration from the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Notable events include the Hello Summer! celebration on June 21, the BAM Forum commencing June 15 with Minister Roberto Cingolani and Noam Chomsky, and the Back to the City Concert on September 5 featuring Stefano Bollani.
