Balzar Arquitectos Renovates Modernist Apartment in Valencia

Balzar Arquitectos has completed the renovation of a 300 m² apartment in Valencia, Spain, located near the iconic Mercado de Colón. The project, led by Balzar Architects, involved updating a late 19th-century modernist building characterized by ironwork, stained glass, and moldings that reflect the city's cultural and aesthetic awakening during the Art Nouveau period. Photographs by David Zarzoso document the renovation, which was curated by Valentina Díaz. The year of completion is 2025.
