Eleanor Olszewski, the minister of emergency management and community resilience, shared this approval via social media, indicating that federal teams, coordinated by the Government Operations Centre at Public Safety Canada, will collaborate with provincial authorities to deliver necessary support. The wildfire has expanded over 10,300 hectares, with firefighters actively combating the flames.
