Bahar Behbahani's Damask Rose: A Gathering transformed three shallow fountains on Governors Island with handwoven carpets and crocheted canopies for a four-hour event blending storytelling, communion, and rest. The project was part of Governors Island Arts' annual Interventions series, convening over two dozen community practitioners and cultural groups.
