Bad Bunny's Puerto Rico Residency Stage Transforms Arena into Island Landscape
Bad Bunny's No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí residency at San Juan's Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot featured a stage design by STURDY. that transformed the arena into a Puerto Rican landscape. The set included a mountain stage inspired by the Cordillera Central and Adjuntas, and a replica of a typical one-story house called la casita, modeled after a home in Humacao. Production designer Mayna Magruder and art director Natalia Rosa worked on the house, while Mónica Monserrate developed initial concepts for the mountain and Gabriela Escalera translated them into a buildable structure. The residency ran for thirty nights in 2025, with early tickets reserved for Puerto Rico residents. The design incorporated plantain leaves, a flamboyán tree, a cave, and a thirty-foot LED mesh screen. The fixed format allowed for dense scenic construction and hidden audio deployment.
