Back to the Future Day: October 21 Celebrations with 4K Trilogy Screenings

October 21 marks the annual Back to the Future Day, celebrating the 1985 cult film directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd. The date originates from the second film in the trilogy, where protagonists travel to that day in 2015. The film, which earned nearly $400 million worldwide, has been inducted into the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress. This year, Nexo Digital, in collaboration with the Associazione Ritorno al Futuro Italia APS, will screen the entire trilogy in 4K. Fans are encouraged to wear outfits inspired by the films, and commemorative Golden Tickets will be distributed. The event includes screenings in Italian, US, and UK cinemas, continuing a tradition that began eight years ago.
