B-CAD 2026: Rome's International Building, Architecture and Design Fair Returns

The international trade fair B-CAD (Building-Construction Architecture Design) returns to Rome's Roma Convention Center La Nuvola from September 4-6, 2026. The event addresses how AI is impacting architecture and design practice, the status of methodological and regulatory guidelines for urban transformation, and key themes such as urban regeneration, environmental sustainability, digitalization, and bioarchitecture. This edition follows Rome's 2025 Jubilee and the second edition of the Roma REgeneration FORUM, which coincided with the conclusion of the 'A Vision for Rome' international ideas competition. B-CAD Ambassador Lorenzo Busnengo, vice president of the Order of Architects of Rome, stated the fair aims to bridge theoretical vision and real construction feasibility. Christian Rocchi, president of the Order of Architects of Rome and Province, emphasized architects' role as custodians of urban metamorphosis. Launched in Rome in 2022, B-CAD now also has an annual international counterpart in the UAE, held in Sharjah and Dubai, serving as a link between Italy and the Emirates.
