AZ Awards 2026 Announces 92 Finalists Spanning Global Architecture and Design

For the AZ Awards 2026, a total of ninety-two projects have been named finalists, selected by a jury for their exceptional vision and meticulous detail. Esteemed firms participating include 3XN, SLA, Montgomery Sisam Architects, Michael Maltzan Architecture, gh3*, Linehouse, and VERTEBRAL. Highlighted projects feature the Sydney Fish Market in Australia, The Lost Shtetl Jewish Museum in Lithuania, a $2,500 vernacular home concept in Bangladesh, and a customizable sofa system. Public voting for the People's Choice awards remains open until May 8, with winners to be revealed during the AZ Awards Gala on May 28. The gala will also announce jury winners in various categories, including EMERGING honourees in Architecture, Design, and Interiors. Categories encompass Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Interiors, and Design, with subcategories like Commercial & Institutional Buildings, Adaptive Re-Use, and Experiential Installations. Sponsors include Keilhauer for the EMERGING category, alongside gala sponsors Colombo Design America, Jeld-Wen, Scavolini, Vicostone, and Landscape Forms.
