Ayrson Heráclito: Yorùbáiano at Pinacoteca de São Paulo

The Pinacoteca de São Paulo presents 'Ayrson Heráclito: Yorùbáiano', a solo exhibition featuring works from 1994 to 2022. The show includes installations from the Bori series (Offering to Ori), 2008-22, the 'Letters of Liberty' series (2021), and performances such as 'Inner Secrets' (1994-2010) and 'Transmutação da Carne' (2015). Also on view are 'Kiry Beuys Salvador' (1995-2022), 'Barrueco III' (2003), 'Osún with Abebe and Ofá' (2020), and 'Moqueca - The Atlantic Condor' (2002-2022). Photographs by Christian Cravo document the performances. The exhibition is part of the 'Black Cultures Matter' program and includes works from the artist's collection and courtesy of Simões de Assis and Portas Vilaseca Galeria.
