Avezzano vacant shop hosts Pasquale Di Fabio retrospective
A new exhibition showcasing the art of Italian artist Pasquale Di Fabio (1927–1998) has opened at a former shop at Via Marconi 85 in Avezzano. Curated by Marcello Lucci, with help from Alberto Di Fabio, the artist’s son, the display features a variety of drawings, prints, and sculptures that highlight Di Fabio's creative evolution. Organized by Antonella Villa of Associazione Antiqua, this exhibit aims to revitalize the town center using an unused commercial space. On March 15, 2025, a refreshed lighting design for Di Fabio's 1965 memorial piece was also revealed. Alberto Di Fabio is working with local leaders to establish a contemporary art museum in Avezzano, which will exhibit the Premio Avezzano collection from 1949, including works by notable artists.
