AVAC Opens with Bonollo Collection Show at Palazzo Thiene

The newly established Vicenza Arte Contemporanea (AVAC) is set to unveil its exhibition titled "Una curiosità inesauribile" at the Gallerie di Palazzo Thiene in Vicenza, running from May 28 to September 13, 2026. This showcase features 14 pieces from the private collection of Sandra and Giancarlo Bonollo, handpicked by the collectors themselves. Under the leadership of Novelio Furin and vice president Alberto Brazzale, AVAC's mission is to foster the appreciation of collecting as a cultural endeavor in Vicenza and the Veneto region. Notable artists include Osama Al Rayyan, Ross Bleckner, and Roberto Cuoghi. The exhibition also emphasizes the Fondazione Bonollo, which was inaugurated two years prior. Future initiatives will encompass solo exhibitions, narratives through private collections, and collaborations between artist-curators and collections, along with plans to establish a public collection for educational and community use.
