Autotelic Foundation Launches with Vienna Digital Cultures Festival 2025

Last week, the Autotelic Foundation, previously known as the Blessed Foundation, was established in the UK under the guidance of international curator Nadim Samman. This charity fosters artistic innovation and discussion at the convergence of art and technology, providing support through commissions, partnerships, publishing, and educational initiatives. Autotelic has been named the Key Partner for the Vienna Digital Cultures Festival 2025, which Samman is curating, in collaboration with Kunsthalle Wien and FOTO ARSENAL WIEN. The festival, titled 'Model Collapse,' will explore the disintegration of systems in the face of technological advancement, especially AI, from May 5-18, 2025. Featured artists include Anthea, Arvida Byström, and Belma Bešlić-Gál, among others. A trailer was produced by Dane Sutherland, featuring an introduction by Andrea Khôra.
