festival-fair · 2026-04-23

Austria was the guest of honor at FIAC from October 7 to 12, 1998. Concurrently, the Espace Paul Ricard in Paris hosted an exhibition on Austrian art. Lóránd Hegyi, curator of that exhibition and director of the Museum Moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig Wien, outlined his priorities: addressing the social divide between progressive intellectual and artistic circles and more conservative segments, pursuing an international and open acquisition and exhibition policy, and contributing to the presentation of the collection for the future museum in Sarajevo.
