Australia's 'Lived In' to Explore Collective Housing at 2027 Venice Architecture Biennale

Australia's participation in the 20th Venice Architecture Biennale will feature an exhibition titled “Lived In.” Running from May 8 to November 21, 2027, this showcase is spearheaded by Kerstin Thompson, Maryam Gusheh, Lee-Anne Khor, and Louise Wright from Monash Urban Lab. It stems from the Housing Atlas of Australia project and is designed to complement the Biennale's overarching theme of coexistence amid current realities. Focusing on collective housing solutions, the installation will also involve collaborations with various universities. After its debut at the Australia Pavilion, the exhibition is set to return home in 2028.
