Audemars Piguet and Ambush Collaborate on Limited Royal Oak Concept

Audemars Piguet has partnered with Tokyo-based streetwear and jewelry brand Ambush, founded by Yoon Ahn and Verbal, on a limited-edition Royal Oak Concept watch. Limited to 150 pieces, the 38.55 mm timepiece features the 72-hour Calibre 2982 and a flying tourbillon with a red cage, a signature color for the duo. The dial is made of polished black aventurine, a rare color in this glass type, with metal fragments creating a glitter effect. The watch has a semi-skeletonized, architecturally layered dial and a titanium case with a matte finish, measuring 11.4 mm thick, fitted with an interchangeable black rubber strap. This smaller size debuted in 2024. The collaboration follows last year's AP x KAWS Royal Oak Concept release. Verbal stated that red represents the Earth's core and the source of energy. The Royal Oak Flying Tourbillon is part of CEO Ilaria Resta's refresh at the company since she took the role in early 2024.
