Atlas of Transitions Biennale's Summer School Goes Digital Amid Pandemic
The Atlas of Transitions Biennale 2020, originally set for June, has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, its Summer School, titled 'Performing Resistance. Dialogues on Arts, Migrations, Inclusive Cities,' will take place online from June 16 to 20 via Facebook and YouTube. This event, organized by Emilia Romagna Teatro Fondazione, the University of Bologna, and Cantieri Meticci, transitioned from an in-person format for 30 participants after receiving over 130 applications in December. Topics will include migration policies and artistic resistance, with speakers such as Daniel Blanga Gubbay, Minna Salami, and a conversation featuring Michael Hardt and Sandro Mezzadra. Additional activities are planned for the autumn.
