Atlas of Transitions Biennale's Fourth Edition Opens in Bologna

The fourth edition of the Atlas of Transitions Biennale, named "We The People," has commenced in Bologna under the curation of Piersandra Di Matteo. This initiative by Emilia Romagna Teatro Fondazione delves into the relationships between citizens, immigrants, and newcomers through artistic expression. Rescheduled for winter, the event highlights the importance of listening during times of solitude. The program kicks off with "Concertata," an installation by CHEAP showcasing photographs from Michele Lapini. Documentary theater is presented in "Voci da Lingua madre" by Lola Arias. Notable contributors include ZimmerFrei with "Saga," Rokia Bamba, Meike Clarelli, and Carolyne Afroetry. Additionally, performances like "Necropolis" by Arkazi Zaides will take place, alongside discussions such as a roundtable on "Right to the City" and a seminar featuring Brandon LaBelle, Christine Eyene, and Hypatia Vourloumis.
