Ateno Architecture Studio embeds Euthea Residence into Meganisi's coastal landscape
Ateno Architecture Studio has finalized the Euthea Residence on a deserted peninsula in Meganisi, Lefkas, Greece, representing the first construction on this location. The design emphasizes harmony with nature, incorporating a recessed area for living spaces, a green roof, and materials sourced locally in natural hues. The residence is primarily concealed from views inland while providing unobstructed vistas of the sea from within. The site is largely preserved to maintain indigenous flora. The project team comprises Elias Theodorakis, Yiorgos Fiorentinos, Spiros Giotakis, Stavros Theodorakis, Ioannis Mavrokefalos, Angelos Kourtis, My Ionian Group, and client Elia Bay Co IKE, with photography by Triadafyllos Xanthopoulos.
