Atelier Régis Roudil Completes Social Housing in Cornebarrieu
Atelier Régis Roudil Architectes has finalized a social housing initiative in Cornebarrieu, France, located at the southern section of the ZAC Monges-Croix du Sud. This 3,101 m² project, completed in 2026, acts as an entryway to the neighborhood, connecting the untouched countryside with the emerging urban landscape. The design harmoniously blends the natural environment with organic shapes, promoting a gentle integration of urbanization and nature. Developed for CDC Habitat Social, the project features landscaping by Atelier Saut de Loup, structural work by Vessiere, and environmental quality assurance from EODD. HNB managed the roads and utilities. Project oversight was provided by Jonathan Benyamine and Anna Le Blevec. The total project cost was €6,601,848 ex. VAT, with additional contributions from ECO + Construire, Cilco, Techniques & Chantiers, and BTP Consultant. Photographs were taken by Bastien Treille.
