Atelier OO Designs Luxefarm Waterbird Park Pavilion in Wanning

Atelier OO has completed the Luxefarm Waterbird Park Pavilion in Wanning, China, a 300-square-meter structure completed in 2024. The pavilion, categorized as a restaurant and bar, is situated in wetlands surrounding a reservoir. The design responds to the site's ecological context, where tropical sunlight and rainfall support aquatic life, and dry-season shoals attract migratory shorebirds. The project was led by architects Wu Yifei, He Zhenzhong, and Shao An, with landscape design by YUDAO Studio and engineering by Sise Huatu. Clients include Chengdu Luxelakes Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd., represented by Luo Xi, Liang Xinyin, and Liang Jiahao. The pavilion integrates with the natural inland lake and deciduous woods, maintaining the area's ecological balance. Photographs by Siming Wu document the structure.
