Atelier Deshaus has completed the Kunshan Jinxi Senior High School, a public boarding school in Kunshan, China, featuring 48 classes spread over three grades. This expansive 72,034 m² facility, finished in 2023, is built on land that was previously farmland and includes an east-west waterway. Surrounding the school are mid-rise residential neighborhoods and future housing developments. The project, led by principal architect Chen Yifeng, involved a talented team including Gao Lin, Ma Danhong, and others. Structural and MEP engineering was handled by Tongji Architectural Design (Group) Co., Ltd. The Kunshan Municipal Bureau of Education commissioned the project, with oversight from Kunshan Urban Construction Investment & Development Group Co., Ltd. Photos were taken by Shengliang Su.
