Atelier Cambre by Esteras Perrote: A Brick Workshop in the Argentine Forest
Architecture firm Esteras Perrote has completed Atelier Cambre, a workshop for artist Juan José Cambre in Argentina. The project, finished in 2025, is located in a mountainous forested area. Its form responds to the mountain height and forest irregularity, with brick color and texture emphasizing the geometry. A large silent space under skylights allows natural light to enter, enabling the artist to see the sky while working. Lead architects Lucía Esteras and Gonzalo Perrote designed the structure. Photographs by Javier Agustín Rojas document the project. The client, Juan José Cambre, will use the atelier as a creative workspace.
