Asymmetry Art Foundation and The Courtauld Launch Chinese Contemporary Art Research Program
The Asymmetry Art Foundation has joined forces with The Courtauld in London to launch the Chinese and Sinophone Contemporary Art Research Programme. This initiative will offer two postdoctoral fellowships, fully funded, with the first starting in September 2022 and the second in 2024. Candidates will be chosen through an open call at The Courtauld and will benefit from the guidance of Dr. Wenny Two, a Senior Lecturer in Modern and Contemporary Art. The program includes a public lecture series and an annual international symposium dedicated to contemporary art from China and Asia. Yan Du, founder of Asymmetry, stated that this partnership aims to fill a void in university-level studies in this area and promote innovative research while developing future scholars.
