Aston Martin Valen Debuts: 838 HP Front-Engined Supercar

During Monterey Car Week, Aston Martin introduced the Valen, a supercar limited in production and derived from the Vanquish. The name, which translates to 'strong' in Latin, signifies its impressive 838 hp generated by a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V-12 engine, establishing it as the most powerful front-engined production car globally. Only 150 units will be manufactured, each priced around $1.7 million, with deliveries set to commence in early 2027. The project, spearheaded by Alex Long, showcases a cutting-edge design by Marek Reichmann, featuring an aluminum frame, a carbon fiber body, and 21-inch magnesium wheels. Weighing up to 243 pounds less than the Vanquish, it achieves 0-60 mph in 3.0 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 214 mph, along with customizable features.
