Associazione Barriera in Turin hosts 'Remains – The Alchemy of Lost Memory', curated by Alberto Dapporto and organized by Sergey Kantsedal, from April 30 to May 23. The exhibition features works by Nicola Ghirardelli, Edoardo Caimi, and Bri Williams. A plastic-covered wall disrupts the space, creating a circular path that disorients visitors and alters perception of time. Ghirardelli's works in iron, copper, silver, aluminum, and terracotta show subtle transformations like oxidations and fractures. Caimi's pieces reference communication systems and urban structures, highlighting breakdowns in transmission. Williams embeds organic elements like birds in resin, freezing them in a state of suspended animation. The show is part of the Mirror Project #16 series, where installation is integral to the artwork.
