Assembling Narratives: Quilting Impulses in Contemporary Art at Dorsky Gallery

Dorsky Gallery Curatorial Programs in Long Island City, New York, presented 'Assembling Narratives: Quilting Impulses in Contemporary Art' from April 11 to June 27, 2010. The exhibition explored quilting as a metaphor and technique in contemporary art. Additionally, a solo show by D. Dominick Lombardi ran from November 20, 2005 to January 30, 2006 at the same venue. The gallery also featured a work by French artist Philippe Ramette, a hypnotic carnival-like mirror with bent polished surfaces and protrusions, displayed at the entrance.
