Aspen Art Fair Returns with Expanded Roster and New Director Kelly Cornell
From July 29 to August 1, 2026, the Aspen Art Fair will take place at Hotel Jerome, featuring more than 35 exhibitors displaying a variety of art forms such as painting, sculpture, photography, design, installations, and works on paper, along with a new outdoor sculpture area. Newcomers like Albertz Benda and Friedman Benda will join returning galleries such as Perrotin and Sean Kelly. Kelly Cornell, previously the director of the Dallas Art Fair, has been appointed as the new Director. The board welcomes Christine Mack alongside Bob Chase, John Sughrue, and Jeremy Buonamici. The cultural program includes private tours, a Balmain salon installation, artist discussions, a live podcast, and a screening of All the Empty Rooms with filmmaker Joshua Seftel. The Art Prize Program will continue its local collaborations, having attracted over 7,000 attendees in past editions.
