ASICS Kinetic Playscape Debuts at Milan Design Week 2026 with Immersive Movement Experience

During Milan Design Week 2026, held from April 22 to 24 at Garage 21, ASICS SportStyle unveiled the ASICS Kinetic Playscape, marking its inaugural appearance at Salone del Mobile. The installation, crafted by studio NUOVA, reflects the principle 'Anima Sana In Corpore Sano' within a retro-futuristic environment that fuses Italian design with Japanese minimalism. It comprises five distinct rooms that delve into various physical and emotional experiences, highlighting the ASICS GEL-KINETIC 2.0 sneaker, which was created at the ASICS Institute of Sport Science in Kobe, Japan, featuring Scutoid GEL cushioning and a TPU structure. Attendees can try on the sneakers, while uniforms by SOSHIOTSUKI and sound design by Matéo Garcia underscore that engaging in 15 minutes and 9 seconds of activity can enhance mental well-being.
