Asian Cultural Council Opens 2027 Global Grant Cycle for US-Asia Exchanges
The Asian Cultural Council (ACC) has launched its Global Grant Cycle for 2027, encouraging artists, scholars, and organizations to seek fellowships aimed at promoting open-ended research and enhancing dialogue between the US and Asia. Over the years, ACC has enabled approximately 6,000 exchanges across 16 disciplines in 26 nations. Eligible areas encompass architecture, art history, dance, film, music, and visual arts. Applicants must either be US citizens or legal residents of 25 specified Asian countries. The application period runs from October 1 to November 10, 2026. Noteworthy alumni projects include Tekla Tamoria's 'AlterBibo' in Malaysia (March 12 - April 14, 2025) and Benjamin Akio KIMITCH's 'Tiger Hands' at The Shed in 2022.
