AS IF Exhibition at Dublin's International Centre for the Image Blurs Photography, Sound, and Installation

From February 6 to April 5, 2026, AS IF, a joint exhibition featuring Eamonn Doyle, Niall Sweeney, and David Donohoe, will be showcased at the International Centre for the Image in Dublin Docklands, under the organization of PhotoIreland. This engaging installation includes silver gelatin prints, film projections, montages, soundscapes, drawings, painting, and text, all captured in Ireland and Japan. Doyle focuses on urban rhythms, while Sweeney adds structural components, and Donohoe enhances the sound experience. The exhibition draws inspiration from Walter Benjamin's Arcades Project and connects Dublin to a global photography network that includes FOAM in Amsterdam and the International Center of Photography in New York. Founded in 2010, PhotoIreland promotes photography through festivals and publications, with the Centre prioritizing experimental and interdisciplinary methods.
