ArtVerona 2024: 122 Galleries and Expanded Programming for 19th Edition
ArtVerona, the Italian art fair, returns for its 19th edition from October 11 to 13, 2024, at Veronafiere pavilions 11 and 12. Under the artistic direction of Stefano Raimondi for the fifth consecutive year, the fair will host 122 exhibitors, including 100 galleries in the Main Section. The fair features curated sections: Innova, curated by Hannah Eckstein, with 14 galleries presenting monographic or up-to-three-artist shows; and Curated by, curated by Giacinto di Pietrantonio, involving 8 young galleries working with independent critics. International participation includes galleries from Istanbul (Ambidexter Gallery) and Innsbruck (Galerie Bernd Kugler). The fair also includes foundations, archives, and artist studios. Concurrently, the Art&TheCity program offers collateral events in Verona, including the exhibition TOMORROWS – A Land of Water at Castel San Pietro, curated by Jessica Bianchera and Marta Ferretti, running until November 10, 2024. Other highlights include LIVES! musical stories by Nicolas Ballario and Rodrigo d’Erasmo, with an October edition dedicated to Jeff Koons. The Main Section exhibitors list includes galleries from Italy and abroad, such as Mazzoleni (Turin, London), Tornabuoni Arte (Florence, Milan, Paris, London), and Coral Contemporary Gallery (Miami).
