ArtVerona 2019 Off Circuit: 15th Edition with Site-Specific Installations and City-Wide Events

festival-fair · 2026-05-04

From October 11 to 13, 2019, ArtVerona will celebrate its 15th anniversary. The event showcases various projects throughout the city, including 'Loony Park' by Norma Jeane at Gallerie Mercatali, featuring a soundscape created by Aldo Lanzini De Agostini Aviance and parties hosted by Path Festival DJs. Curated by Christian Caliandro, 'La quarta notte di quiete: SCARTI' highlights the work of 11 artists across 9 venues in Veronetta. At the entrance of the fair, visitors will find Daniel González's 'Mi Casa Tu Casa – Reversal House' and Giovanni Scotti's photographic action. The University of Verona will present 'Contemporanee/Contemporanei' with over 80 artists, while the Galleria d'Arte Moderna Achille Forti will host three exhibitions. Anselm Kiefer's sculpture 'Für Paul Celan' can be viewed at the Accademia di Belle Arti, and a visit to the Mart in Trento for Richard Artschwager's retrospective is recommended.
