ArtVerona 2017: 140 Galleries, New Sections, and a Focus on Emerging Artists

The 2017 edition of ArtVerona, under the direction of Adriana Polveroni, showcased 140 booths, including 35 newcomers, alongside 14 independent spaces divided into five categories: Grand Tour, Scouting, Main Section, Raw Zone, and i8, which was curated by Cristiano Seganfreddo. Among the highlights was the Free Stage, featuring emerging talents like Daniele Puppi, Giuseppe Pietroniro, and H.H. Lim. Prominent galleries such as Frutta, Emanuel Layr, Bibo's Place, Montoro 12, Ada, and Album Arte were present. Exhibitions displayed works by Gianni Pellegrini, Arcangelo Sassolino, Mario Cresci, and Laurina Paperina. Isolo 17 highlighted Karlos Perez, while Michela Rizzo and Massimo De Luca showcased important pieces. Analix Forever presented a project inspired by Claudio Parmiggiani, with a focus on Urs Luthi and Luigi Ontani.
