Artsy and UBS Launch 360-Degree Video Series Inside Venice Biennale
With the 57th Venice Biennale opening to the public on May 13 and a preview for insiders starting May 10, Artsy, in collaboration with UBS, has produced the first installment of 'Inside the Biennale,' a series of 360-degree explorable videos. The immersive experience takes viewers through churches, canals, pavilions, and artist studios, accompanied by artists and curators including Massimiliano Gioni (who directed the 2013 Biennale), Cecilia Alemani (curator of this year's Italian Pavilion), Carol Bove (exhibiting in the Swiss Pavilion), and Austrian artist Erwin Wurm. Viewers can navigate the video using a mouse, smartphone screen orientation, or VR headsets.
