Arts Council Opens Gallery Snack Bar for Modern British Pottery Exhibition

At the New Burlington Galleries in London, the Arts Council of Great Britain is set to introduce a buffet and snack bar for visitors during exhibition hours. This innovative catering initiative will commence on September 11, aligning with the launch of the Modern British Pottery and Textiles, 1920-52 exhibition. Managed by Peter Merchant Ltd., the service will provide a variety of hot and cold meals and snacks. The buffet is designed to accommodate West End business professionals who wish to enjoy the gallery during lunch or tea breaks. Additionally, it will cater to art societies and student groups for celebrations, eliminating the need for outside catering. Mr. D. A. H. Osmond, a former Army Catering Corps officer, will oversee operations. Exhibition hours are 10-8 on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 10-6 on other weekdays. This initiative, located at Old Burlington Street, London, W.1, aims to improve visitor accessibility and convenience.
